OUR TEAM

The Hybrid Group is a team of young professionals working in the Greater Toronto Area.  Through family and business connections, the team has a strong foundation and collaborative working relationship to achieve its goal and mandate in helping the local community.

Born and raised in Calgary, my family settled in Malton in the early 1990s.  Growing up in a tight knit South Asian community, extra curricular activities and athletics were essential to growing up and staying engaged with positive influences. My professional background includes marketing, IT management, cybersecurity, and business development. My goal is to use the connections I've made both personally and professionally to help make a positive impact on the community that helped mold me. By empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs and young professionals, I believe we can make an extraordinary impact going forward. Charitable work is generally done once you've reached the pinnacle of professional success. I am striving to change that mindset, and instead, be charitable throughout the professional journey.

Growing up in Malton, I developed a strong interest in helping and supporting the local community, especially at-risk youth.  Playing sports, traditional Punjabi folk dancing, and mixed martial arts are all personal interests that connected me with the next generation.  My professional background includes environmental science, and transportation logistics management and coordination for a major conglomerate.

Born and raised in Guelph, we were a small community of Punjabi families that developed a strong social support system.  Growing up, being involved in a variety of sports and athletics helped to bridge the gap between ethnically diverse groups, and encouraged greater inclusion.  My professional background includes hydroponic greenhouse management, accounting, business administration, and supply chain management. Currently, I co-manage the Locker Inc., a private vault storage facility.

Satvinder Gill

Born in Etobicoke and raised in Brampton as a first-generation Canadian, I have seen first hand the challenges with mental health issues in my community and the stigma associated with seeking help. That’s why supporting and mentoring the leaders for tomorrow has been a passion of mine, through my work and sports. Together, through awareness building and better education we can change the outcomes for so many families struggling with different health and social service needs. My pride has always been in the success of those around me and being inspired to give back to our society. It’s why I continue to strive to be better and push our community to realize and surpass our potential.
